Bronco Snow Wheeling
Aside from the copious amount of black smoke coming from it, the cummins diesel-powered Ford Bronco took on the deep snow like a champ. The new Bronco won't be able to do the same without ton axles and 37-inch tires, but I'd be happy to see some similar handling in the snow with a stock 2020 bronco.

Doubt even the new Bronco will be able to go through that without and mods. Really depends on how much money you're willing to invest for winter performance as the one we see may have a built NV4500, dodge t-case.

I don't think they'll be that capable in stock form either. That's definitely on the more "extreme" side of the hemisphere and regular people wouldn't be doing that at all. They don't need to make it that capable anyhow. But there will definitely be parts for it. A lift kit, tires, axles, and some sort of drivetrain beefing, should be a beast.

Doesn't have to be the snow, I can see avid off road drivers putting a lift kit and beefier axles on their new Bronco to take on some deep mud. No too sure about sand and what one would need for that.

The new Bronco may be able to take on the trail in stock form if other vehicles have gone first and carved out a sort of trail for it's tiers to dig into. Assuming there's a lot of low end torque in the Bronco and a nice set of winter tires, I think ti may be able to handle it at slow speeds.

For sure, I mean, we've see the capabilities of prior generation Jeep GCs and I don't think they're as equipped as the Bronco will be. But they obviously wouldn't handle it like it is portrayed in that video. Slowly but surely it can burrow it's way through.

Before any of us can take the new Bronco off road, odds are much like Jeep and other brands that have off-road worthy products, they'll setup some off-road course for members of the media.

I think Toyota did this once for the FJ Cruiser.

But at the same time i won't be surprised if Ford doesn't go ahead with this, all depends on who they're trying to sell to overall.

A course that's designed to be just right for the Bronco to shine through and that would be "helpful". But appealing to the off-road market where, quite frankly is extremely minimal compared to overall sales and who's buying them, really wouldn't be something on top of the priority chart.
