Bronco wont be a global model

It seems that neither the Bronco or Baby Bronco will be making their way to right hand drive markets. Ford seems to think that the Ranger is enough for places like Australia and the U.K and that its not worth the time or money to make the Bronco complaint there. A bit odd with the Bronco's designation as an off roader to not be offered in the Australian outback. https://www.autoblog.com/2018/12/19/...ht-hand-drive/

Its a model that competes with vehicles like the toyota land cruiser and FJ cruiser, those have been sold in many markets, and even imported to those that didn't originally get them.

This is probably just to reduce their risk for launch. New markets are always something they can consider once they have established a consumer base and proven demand for the platform.

No "current" plans. That doesn't mean it won't happen, or that they won't "have plans" next month. It's a polite deflection of the question, probably because the vehicle doesn't officially exist yet, and the Everest does for their market.

Ford is using the same rationalization for not offering the Ranger Raptor stateside. Just because a model is cost effective to produce in one market, does not make it so for every one. RHD markets would also prefer a diesel powerplant.

Better preparing for a solid 7-8 year product run is what i'm after. Ford didn't rush the F-150 Raptor and it turned out a massive success.

Some things just take patience.

The longer that Ford wants to introduce the RR, the more the market share that models like the ZR2 will take. In head to head tests, its already been found to be the better rock crawler.
