Awesome video dude! Look forward to seeing more videos from your channel. Really hoping we see a V8 in the rumored Raptor variant of the Bronco. Any thoughts on a manual gearbox?

That was a great video!
I'm hoping Ford will go with the old Bronco's axle, but that's doubtful in my mind along with the V8. The latter because of all the emissions restrictions and move towards smaller engines. Blarg...

Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback. I've been thinking about all the options that we speculate it should have for a while and tried to categorize them in terms of importance. I know its not everyone's list but I tried to be objective. I dont think Ford not having a manual option kill it. Just personal opinion. I "think" its safe to assume it will in-fact, have one since it will share many parts with the Ranger. How is Ford not going to offer a manual in a mid-size truck? Stranger things have happened though. It reminds me of when no one considered a day would come when you couldn't order a 3/4 ton+ truck w/out a manual and yet here we are, 10 years later and sales continue to climb.

I understand the move towards their hybrid models but how does a V8 in a full-size truck pass emissions standards but if put a mid-size chassis become inefficient? Ford wouldn't dare offer the Mustang without a V8 option. I think its just as important with the Bronco. Not to mention, we (Ford) are going to need some competitive advantage over Jeep. I don't see a more appealing advantage than a V8 out of the gate. Ford can taught that over Jeep for atleast a few years. Thats gotta be worth something. Or maybe, its wishful thinking.

Sweet video, will definitely be checking out your channel from time to time. In regards to the manual gearbox, Ford didn't seem to have any problem eliminating it on the Ranger, and from some spy videos of the new GT500 it looks like that is now using an automatic/DCT. I would agree that's no deal breaker though. With how much interest Ford has shown in electrification, we could very well see a hybrid V8 system, which would greatly reduce emissions and alleviate fuel economy concerns.

Agreed. I think the notion of a "real" off-road vehicle having a manual is phasing out. There are certainly some advantages, dont get me wrong but automatics have come a long way and can now shift faster and more efficiently than the driver with a manual. Not to mention with the advent of descent assist, traction control, controlled-braking, etc I think an automatic will do just fine.

I have a feeling that Ford will implement their Terrain Management System that they've put in their Raptor variants on the Bronco. I do hope they're also considering putting the Watts linkage rear suspension+ Fox Racing shocks, on one of the Bronco trims.

Assuming people are going to put their Bronco through **** off-road, as is expected, the Bronco could benefit from a real-time adaptive suspension system similar to what the 2019 F-150 Raptor is getting. It even knows when all four wheels are in the air and adjusts the dampers in anticipation of the landing.

Its hard to say just how "hardcore" new buyers will be with the new Bronco but if Ford equips it well enough, they would certainly be encouraged. I already have a barn full and each has its own purpose but I'd def plan to take it on adventures!

IMO it will be better if Ford has regular versions to sell these in mass numbers and then come out with special versions to take care of the real enthusiasts. Sort of like what Jeep and Toyota have done.
