I would imagine that if Ford does indeed to offer than kind of option, that it'll likely be reserved for one of the higher trim levels. That's a pretty substantial lift kit, and depending on how its priced I think Ford would see a lot of interest in it. Hopefully they'll also offer larger tires to go with it.

Ohhhh, 4 inches is a very substantial lift and shows just how dedicated Ford is to making the Bronco a capable off-road vehicle. If there's a lift, we can expect to see different tires as well even if they are the same size.

Its great to hear that Ford is already considering offering modifications from factory, and I hope that's indication of more performance oriented trims as well. Though pricing and their choice of brand will have an impact on consumer interest.

The way my friend described it to me, was its Ford paralleling what Toyota does with their TRD performance upgrades. You can get a "TRD" trim pkg but it you just wanted a base pkg you could also had the TRD supercharger a la cart.

Small Print: I hate when people start rumors like this stating "they know a guy who knows a guy". So much so, I made a video to distinguish between fact vs fiction with the Bronco. However, if my friend wasn't in upper-middle management with Ford I would file this rumor mentally as hearsay, but he is a Bronco fan and is trying to debunk rumors as best as possible and that was the only one that he couldn't seem to shake the fallacy off of. I feel very confident, Ford will offer some trick, custom items that are factory produced and installed that aren't necessarily standard on any trim packages.

It would be great if Ford decided to offer that level of customization on the Bronco, as it would allow you to avoid unnecessary features and options that are often bundled together. I do wonder whether or not it will be more expensive to add options individually however.

They can and are at a better position to do it these days. Establishing a program like what Jaguar has done will go a long way.
