Check Out this 1966 Ford Bronco U13 Roadster, Just $8,900

This 1966 Ford Bronco Roadster is differentiated from the regular bronco by its lack of hard top, windows and doors. These McCoy Roadsters even have their own website --> Roadster U13 | 66-67-68 Ford Bronco U13 Roadster Enthusiasts!

At an asking price of $8,900, this Bronco is on Phoenix Craigslist.

Looks like there's a lot of rust that needs to be buffed out and everything under the hood may need to be replaced. It's a great price but the restoration of it is going to cost a lot.

Yea, you need to be ready to take on that restoration project. It's a big one.

Not sure if I would pay that much for it, rather be patient, wait, and possibly spend 30% more for one in better condition.

With these old vehicles it's always easier to start with one in the best condition you can find for what you're willing to spend. Saves you a lot in the end.

Agreed. Once you start a restoration job on an old vehicle that's in questionable shape, you're bound to find new problems around every corner.

Interesting. I agree with you guys though. Probably better to spend some more and get one that is in better shape. Might even be cheaper in the long run doing that.

I checked out the site to see what it's about and they do actually have some nicely kept/restored Ford Broncos. Their sale page is empty so I assume someone actually purchased the run down Bronco in OP's post.

Nice one:

And the not so nice:

Really cool seeing what they look like when fully restored. They look like a really fun car to drive. Would they even be legal to drive on the road today though? no doors, no roof?

Those legalities should tie into the age of the vehicle since at some point vehicles of a certain age are exempt from rules newer cars have to abide by.

A grandfather clause. That makes sense.

Wonder how much a fully refurbished Bronco roadster would go for.
