Tony Besson's 1969 Ford Bronco

Tony Besson decided to one day purchase a classic Bronco and he was lucky enough to find one that's rust free but within two weeks he managed to blow out the motor. The engine was later swapped out for a fuel-injected 351ci V-8 íplant...which he also managed to blow out as well which leads us to the current engine that's managed to survive so far, a 351ci V-8.

The exterior was updated as well to include:
Quote:
a Sundial-powdercoated Proto Fab front bumper, Mile Marker SEC9.5 (ES) winch, J.W. Speaker model 8700 LED headlights, J.W. Speaker TS3001R LED auxiliary lights, Sundial-powdercoated James Duff receiver hitch rear bumper with Modular Tire and Gas Tank Rack, functional hood scoop, and rocker protection.
It's all business with a set of beadlock converted American Eagle rims mounted with 33x10.5R15LT Toyo Open Country M/T tires.Making it ready for some off road driving is a set of James Duff 3 1/2-inch-lift Monster long-travel suspension mounted to the front.

I think this version of a modded Bronco from FourWheeler is so much better than Jay Leno's overpriced rig.

I'm a fan. I just like the versatile and rugged look of it. Could do without some of the decals. I'm kinda a fan of the cloth roof too. Would be fun for the summer time.

Lol, you need more than a 3 1/2-inch-lift? What's actually the highest you can go without affecting performance negatively?

No idea. Not an expert when it comes to lifted trucks, need to spend more time on the Pirate4x4 forum. All I know is that i'd like to accomplish this...

From the looks of the space in the wheel well when comparing the two, maybe the red ford has an extra invch or two on top of the 3 1/2-inch-lift already on the Besson ford.

Lol it's much more than that.

Then there's suspension dynamics, difference between the two are day and night. Can't put that bronco in the environment where that custom F250 goes

I was just looking at the space between the wheels and wheel wells and it didn't look that dramatic to me.

What helps is the suspension system allows the wheels to be tucked in so there's a lot of range of movement, it's quite forgiving even in the extreme situations we're seeing it in here.

There's a smaller range of movement with wheels that stick out from the sides more? Why?
