That and if any other delays come up. So potentially a 2020 model?

won't be surprised to see the Bronco appear on showroom floors early 2020 instead of late 2019. Retooling takes time and then you have to iron out any production kinks for new models like the Bronco before mass producing market ready ones.

If they're saying 2019 now, it'll be 2020 lol. Probably unveil in Q3 of 2019 and hit dealers in April or so of 2020. Now.. has anyone seen the Toyota FT-4x or something that's going to be unveiled at the NYAS ? Apparently from what I've read at least, they're pretty much just going to storm in to take the market before the Bronco even appears.

Until Ford at least debuts a concept model, we really don't have a concrete timeline to base the release on. Ford could push back the 2020 date for all we know.

That's a huge possibility. But as it is for now, depending on what that FT-4X comes out with, Ford may have to go back to the drawing board and perhaps even up the game.

Retooling of the production plant it will be built in and before that, reports of money being allocated will be early signs although not so obvious, just have to connect the dots for yourself at that point.

Has anyone look at what steps Toyota has taken thus far yet?

I can't seen to find any information on what they have done but this being a concept we haven't seen in full, once the reveal happens (or around it) we'll have lots of information to depend on. Whats more interesting is what current FJ owners want.
