Competition is one thing but at the same time we have to consider how flush the market is because odds are there will be a lot of buyers. This is a very easy market to get in and with global sales being possible odds are Ford can get rid of these fast.

Ford will still need to price the Bronco accordingly because when it finally goes on sale there will be other new competitors as well. It seems like a few automakers are rushing to fill in this gap that has so far been dominated by Jeep and time along with price is crucial. I'd be happy to see a mid $20,000 starting price.

I think we'd be lucky to see something starting in the $20k price range, depending on what sort of engine, transmission they end up putting in this truck. Im also curious what sort of trim levels will be available, as I'm not sure if we will see a more off road capable variant.

In the mid-high $20k price range sounds about right to me because regardless where you look in this market that's what similar products are going for. one thing for sure is that they can't stray away from that, much like what we see in other markets whether its Food or electronics.

Considering a fully loaded Rubicon can now fetch $50k, I think we'll be starting higher than the 20's for a base model. There is probably going to be a considerable options list and powertrain choices to choose from.

Maybe high $20k seems more reasonable than $30k? Like around $28k would be ideal before it becomes a bit to expensive to justify unless the performance is exceptional.

I think the nameplate will warrant a higher base price, similar to what Jeep has found with the Wrangler. Being a first gen model however, will mean that Ford will have to be careful not to price too aggressively. I think we'll see a pretty wide cost bracket between the base and top end trims.

Well said! Only thing I would add is that the top level Bronco back in 94-96 (Eddie Bauer) sold between $28-$32k. That was 22 years ago. I would not hold my breath for anything less than $30k. Abraham nailed it.....Ford is selling the history/heritage. That commands a price in itself.
