Now that is extremely cool. Wondering why they didn't go EFI though. That's an odd situation there.

Won't they have to program the ECU to work with the EFI? Seems like something that can become overly complicated.

It's really not all that hard actually. It's essentially a kit and you replace the whole carb section and all of that stuff with a manifold, fuel rails, etc. and it's all a plug and play operation. After that you get it tuned and your set. It's a lot more consistent after that.

Lol it's not that easy either. There's a lot of work going into making a performance machine run on EFI through a conversion. You constantly need a tuner to ensure that thing is running optimally especially when it's being put through paces like that.

Don't think an EFI upgrade will be something I'll do, just seems like a lot of problems can crop up and advanced diagnostic testers will be needed.

If you can manage dealing with adjusting a choke all time then you'll be perfectly fine in that scenario. Anyhow, it's not like we'll have to deal with any of this as we aren't getting a super tricked out carburated oldschool v8 or an EFI converted oldschool V8 in the Bronco lol.

Lol in that scenario, then yes it's a great possibility. Another possibility I see happening is, dare I say it, some sort of LS swap !!

FourWheeler went down memory lane and looked back on the Ford Bronco pickup. There's even a recreation of a vintage service call! Great read of the older days if you have the time.

Everything looks mint on that Bronco, not a speck of dust even on the underside!

The small pickup trend is slowly coming back with those ute trucks, but something about that classic 1964 Bronco look appeals to me more than the rounded edges.
