New rendering from IAB

Since we got some partially leaked photos of the baby Bronco variant, an automotive illustrator over at IAB has created a rendering of what he envisions for the production model. I prefer what we saw previously as there is too much of a similarity between this and the Explorer.

Looks like some video game knock off to get around trademark filings. Whoever created this rendering clearly didn't pay attention to the last Ford event, nor anything else Ford has related to the new Bronco.

Wow that's horrible. Makes you wonder how someone becomes an automotive artists in the first place. Is this really what he wants the production model to look like?

For a direct comparison, here's what Ford themselves shown off. Compared to other current designs, anyone that knows Ford knows how production like it is:

I do wonder whether Ford will be offering it in various two tone color schemes like that. I know this has become increasingly popular on subcompacts like the Kicks, C-HR and Stonic.

Not even close. I'm all for speculative drawings but this is just beyond amateur. They didn't even try to mimic Ford's teaser measurements at all. These kind of haphazard renderings do nothing more than muddy the waters.

Clearly that's the case here from the Ford event, which plays directly into how quickly different Ford teams have grown over the years; Ford Performance, Ford Accessories and so on.

What I see is a '90s Explorer or Land Rover. No resemblance to any Bronco, nor to any of the Bronco teasers beyond coloration of the Baby/Maverick/Puma "leak" images.

That gen Explorer had to be my least favorite, during that time and even now, GM was my go to. During that same time Japanese brands were killing it.

Owned a Jeep Cherokee, Toyota 4Runner and a Yukon XL after.
