Traxxas TRX4

Can you spot what's off in this video? I think if they were to dub in some engine/exhaust notes most people would never realize that these are actually some really cool RC cars. Don't know if anyone on here has an interest in them, but I thought it was a neat video, that was cleverly shot.

What a relaxing video, thanks for uploading. I know Traxxas has a bunch of replica RC trucks, including the Land Rover Defender and Ford Raptor.

That's pretty cool, and I had no idea just how accurate these replica's had become. First giveaway was the driverless cabin, but if they hadn't done any closeups they could've fooled me.

Begs the question of how an electric variant of the Bronco would perform. Though I doubt that's a part of the initial launch, I'm sure it's something that Ford has planned for later generation models. We've seen even with the new I-Pace that electric powertrains are extremely capable off road.

Fords needs an off-roader that people can be passionate about along with working in next generation technology.
Jeep is already working on a hybrid Wrangler, soon it might be Toyota as a next generation FJ comes to market.

The best thing that electric off roaders will provide is better reliability and also no noise. A lot of trails have noise restrictions that could easily become obsolete with electric powertrains. It's a race to see which automaker can do it first, but there are concerns around the cost of these new models.

My guess is that Ford will start with hybrid options before full blown electric variants for that reason. And I would imagine that there will be a lot of enthusiasts who will have very little interest in an electric Bronco.
