Ford Baby Bronco Renders

The guys over at Autoblog just released a bunch of renderings for the newly announced "Baby Bronco' and I have to say that it's looking pretty sleek. I like the idea of smaller off road capable SUV, especially with one with such a sporty design. Can definitely see this thing giving the Renegade a run for its money. Thoughts?

I'm actually not adverse to a Baby Bronco, in fact I'm interested in something that size if Ford can create a similar looking one. The high ground clearance and the incline angle allowance may just be enough for my needs.

Having seen the Ford Troller shown off overseas I hope here we will see more of its influence in the baby Bronco. It seems to small to be representative of the regular Bronco successor. At the same time its not hard to see were this baby bronco sits, among the Renegade, CX-3, CH-R and HR-V!

I don't like it. Looks far too similar to the Ecosport and not really representative of the Bronco nameplate. Imo the last thing anyone is interested in is another Renegade.

Aside from the wheels and bash plate, the rendering looks like any other SUV and that's such a shame. The Bronco heritage and concept looked unique compared to the generic SUV but this is just catering to the average buyer. Wish they would stick to the nameplate's heritage like Jeep did with the Wrangler.

This is just a rendering based upon the teaser image that Ford released, so I'm sure its quite a bit different from what we'll see in the production model. Ford is going to have to modernize the design of the Bronco, for the sole reason of aerodynamics and better fuel economy. I do agree that they should make it more unique looking though.

Just came across this rendering, which is what some think we could see if Ford does opt to go with a hybrid powertrain. I actually don't mind it, but I do think it looks a little too similar to a Wrangler. I think Ford would be wise to considering more efficient powertrains, as gas prices are expected to continue rising throughout the summer.

The size is good and the suicide/half doors are an interesting idea, but the look does remind me of a Wrangler. Nothing wrong with that because it's still different with the elongated rear passenger window, kind of like the one on the old two door Bronco.

Interesting looking concept, and much more appealing than those other renderings we've seen imo. I really don't think we need more Renegade/Ecosport styled alternatives. Hopefully Ford keeps the styling of the Bronco more rugged, even in the two door model.

Starting to wonder that if Ford builds this similar to the Wrangler, it could mean the new Bronco not only gets used in the retail market but also for millitary and other fleet purposes. Heck for all we know these could also become the next police interceptor, successor to the explorer.
