one of the reasons why I like cars from that era and surrounding era's for the fact 2 tone works very well. these days its hard to do that since it ends up not happening naturally, often the 2 tone is forced.... nothing in the original design for it to flow by as seen here.

Back then, the bodies were boxy so the two tone works. Designs now are more rounded and smoother. Gotta love that white and blue combo and the lack of a roof. I wouldn't mind driving around in that.

That's pretty much it. The boxy squared off designs were able to pull off that two tone because there was a line of split. The rounder, softer bodies of today don't have that section.

That and these vehicles were long an had smooth lines, when you have the sort of angular lines which most new cars have going on these days, you have to get creative with 2 tone paint jobs... or just forget the idea entirely.

Maybe Ford will stick with the nostalgic boxy body for the Bronco. There's just something about it that appeals to the classic side of me. Isn't that what's trending these days? Nostalgia?

They can only pay homage to an extent since at the end of the day what's ends up coming to us in the forum of a production model will need to wear the current design language seen throughout various their various models.

So blending the past with the future is going to be hard especially when there has been a big gap from the last Bronco to the one we're getting.

Huge gap, and there was nothing even there as a temporary void filler that lived up to it. They have to find that perfect balance to pull on the heartstrings and memories of those that loved the Bronco from back then, and engage the newer buyers to get into one as well.

If it was purely nostalgic, It would come from a company like Equus Automotive or something that made the Bass 770

Here's a nice piece of nostalgia for everyone in video format. That one was restored by Jonathan Ward.

That video editing is what brought all of that together. Certain portions you can see the LED headlights and the little lights on the bottom of the bumper, but otherwise, one may be compelled to think this was a video from before!
