I honestly really don't know. But I'm seeing that it is the more common style now a days. They do look pretty cool. Other than that I'm not too sure if there's a difference in cut-offs or anything of that sort.

From what I can make of it, it's to allow the lighting to be distributed better for improved focus and concentration of the beam to where it is aimed vs. the traditional way.

Hmm... yeah I guess I can see that, have you also noticed mercedes tear dropped shaped projectors ?! I think that's more so for aesthetic purposes

That's what I was thinking as well and I won't be too surprised if that's the direction they'll go come time for production since at this stage in the industry with the rise in competition, it's needed, they need more to standard out. Before the requirements were much less. Fortunately Ford has good people on their team, the most recent vehicles displayed that, quite confident in how the Bronco will turn out.

Especially because the market that the Bronco will be directed to, remember that iconic name of the Bronco. Once they see some really modern touches bringing it back to life again, they'll love it

Combine what Jeff said with how the market is right now and the timing is right. Launching the Bronco again in a market during a time that isn't right, would do some harm to the product, setting it off to a rough start.

And rough starts lead to discourage, which then leads to an early end to a model..

Exactly. They have to cut losses at some point and that would surely cause a break into their stop loss to get out of the market or do something drastic to revive the product, which at that point is a gamble unless they really regroup and at that point really understand what the market wants.

The darker front rendering looks more aggressive, maybe it's the extra trim or larger wheels. They certainly thought of the little details when it comes to renderings, even replaced the Ford badge with the large Bronco letters.
