EcoBoost, Diesel or All Natural?

Just curious what the early engine speculation is?

I could see ford giving it the 2.7 EcoBoost

I could also see them giving it the i5 diesel in the Transit

I could ALSO see Ford giving the Bronco a Coyote V8...

ok maybe all three then??

EcoBoost will more than likely be it, it's a powerplant more inline with what they're trying to do as a brand, just look at how many new vehicles are EcoBoost powered.

EcoBoost probably. It's the same one as the 2015 Ford F-150 right?

Well why can't ford offer a myriad of combinations like they do on the F-150? You can get 2 ecoboosts, a natural V6 and a natural V8. Supposedly a diesel is coming too...

I would assume EcoBoost. I'm not aware of many Ford diesel vehicles, at least not in North America. This seems like a strange vehicle to be the first to get one.

It's not LOL... The Transit is available with an I5 diesel and the F-150 might be getting it as well...

Also... SuperDuty... DUH...

Ok, but those are trucks and commercial vehicles. Not exactly the same type of vehicle that the Ford Bronco is poised to be.

But this is about Ford diesel engines you were not aware of, he just told you where else they are to be found in. Forget the fact those engines are sitting in pick up trucks and commercial vehicles Lol

I knew that f-150s had diesel engines, and I hadn't really considered commercial vehicles mostly because I figured they wouldn't be put in a consumer vehicle.

Is the thread about diesel engines I'm not aware of, or if the Bronco will get a diesel engine?

If the Bronco will be a diesel engine. I think it'll have a diesel option along with normal gas too.
