BluePrint Engines- 306Ci Bronco crate engine

BluePrint Engines started over 20 years ago, and they are now one of the largest crate engine manufactures in the world. They offer a bunch of different products, with a few being specific to the truck market like their 306ci Bronco Edition crate engine. Its a Ford 302 Windsor that's hard to beat in terms of torque and horsepower given its small displacement. It delivers 365hp and lb-ft of torque and it comes standard with a 30 month/50,000 mile warranty.

This is a great looking engine, and hopefully we see Ford offer a similar V8 from factory for the production model. I would imagine this is the go to for anyone who's currently attempting a restomod.

At least we know that if Ford drops the ball with factory engine options that we have some alternatives to look into. But to be honest I doubt that many will want to invest in an engine swap in a brand new vehicle.

If we see just as many enthusiasts with an interest in Moab with the new Bronco, then I think you'll be surprised. Not sure on the compatibility of an engine like this in a modern vehicle, but they are essentially designed to be plug and play.

Crate engines in the long run are really meant to save you time. It could take forever trying to source parts for a rebuild. I think on overage these crate engines range from $4-8k.

It looks like the Bronco will be coming with a 300hp V6 as one of the engine options, so there is certainly room above that. Think we'll see the 5.0l from the Mustang or the 6.2 from the F150?

I dont believe we'll see a V8. The power out of the V6's are simply undeniable. It'd be cool but its just not happening. But the trade off is I do believe 100% we are going to see solid axles. Mark my words....

It might not be an option from launch, but since Ford has gone the route of Raptorizing the Ranger, I think there's a solid chance that could happen to the Bronco as well. They just might hold off to see what interest is like in the latest variant.
