First bronco Ever?

Could this really be the first Bronco to ever be produced? but this is from FoxNews so I'm a bit skeptical about the story, but it has the vin number 000.

Just as you said... I hate fox news lmao.

From what I've read, that is the official first vin ending in 732 000. But I read that it wasn't original engine or paint.

That's just one VIN, we'll need to see more locations of the VIN and overall for it to be inspected by someone good at verifying if its the real deal, and good chance it is. No better time to sell it then during this era when a new Bronco is about to come out.

Fox News sin't generally known for reliability and reporting without bias so I'll take it with a grain of salt until someone who's qualified can verify that it's the real deal. If it really is the first one ever produced, how much do you think it'll sell for?

That's going to be a tough one. The value has been seriously hurt by the paint job and the engine not matching what the vin has it as. That and adding that it's not even close to restored doesn't help one bit.

Maybe the plaque is worth a few dollars, but I can't see the whole Bronco going for much unless there's a huge enthusiast out there with very deep pockets who wants to restore it.

Oh boy, I can only imagine how much it would cost to fully restore this thing. But... until that numbers matching engine is found, is it even worth the trouble ? It's almost guaranteed you won't find the engine of course

If anyone does buy that thing, it's probably going into a museum as is instead of getting restored. Just not worth restoring even though it does look to be in good condition for how old it is.

I doubt they would put it in the museum in that condition just because it's not legit true to what the first one should be. When you run the vin and get all the information and compare it to the truck presented and they're different, that's an issue.

If it ends up being a true original with numbers matching and all that good stuff that's typically looked for then its highly likely that it won't get restored even if taken into a museum. It all comes down to originality and sometimes its best to leave this stuff as is.

Sometimes though you do find they will contract out a full resto. I just rather see them keep the original as it is and if they really want to, built a clone of it.
